Open Items is the first page you land on after logging in. It answers one question: what needs my attention right now?
It combines the key figures of the old overview page and the notification list into a single feed, so you no longer have to check two places.
Key Figures
Three cards at the top of the page:
- Occupancy: Average occupancy across your active properties for the current month
- Revenue (30 days): Total value of bookings confirmed in the last 30 days
- Next Arrival: Date of the next upcoming check-in
If a guest has written to you and you have not read the message yet, a banner above the key figures shows the number of unread messages and links straight to the inbox.
The Action Feed
Below the key figures, everything open is collected in one list. Four kinds of entries appear here:
Requests
Booking requests that are still waiting for your decision.
Each row shows the guest name, the property, and the amount. You can act directly from the row:
- Accept: Confirms the request
- Decline: Rejects the request
- Details: Opens the full booking
→ Manage Bookings for the full booking view
Tasks
Things that need looking at but are not a request or a payment — for example a notification about a booking, or a recommendation about one of your properties.
A task shows a short title and an explanation. Done removes it from the list.
Payments
Payments that failed or are still outstanding. The row shows the guest, the amount, and the property. Open payment takes you to the payment detail page.
Suggestions
Proposals Stayoa has prepared for one of your properties — for example a price adjustment.
Each suggestion shows three things:
- What is being proposed
- Why it is being proposed
- The estimated effect
You have three options:
- Apply: Accepts the suggestion as proposed
- Adjust: Enter your own value before applying it
- Decline: Reject it, optionally with a short reason
A suggestion shown here waits for your decision — it only takes effect when you accept it, and an applied suggestion can be reversed afterwards. The exception is a property where you have switched an Autopilot rule to full automation in Autopilot settings: those changes apply immediately and never appear here as a suggestion to review — check the Autopilot audit log for them instead.
Requests and payments always appear, on every plan. Property recommendations require Pro or higher.
Sorting and Filtering
Grouped by Time
Entries are grouped into Today, Tomorrow and This Week. Click a group heading to collapse or expand it. Empty groups are hidden.
Filters
Filter by Property
Use the property switcher in the top-right of the page to limit the feed to a single property. Default: all properties. It only appears as a dropdown once you have more than one property — with a single property it is shown as a plain label instead.
Filter by Type
Below the key figures, a row of buttons filters by entry type — All, Requests, Tasks, Payments, Suggestions. Each button shows how many entries of that type exist.
Only New
Toggle Only new to show only unhandled entries. In practice every entry in the feed is already unhandled — a request, task, payment or suggestion disappears from the feed the moment you act on it rather than staying around marked as read — so today this toggle rarely changes what you see.
When the feed says there are no open items, everything is handled. That is the normal state — Open Items is a to-do list, not an archive.
What Happens After an Action
Entries disappear from the feed as soon as you handle them. Nothing is lost:
- Accepted and declined requests remain visible under Bookings
- Payments remain visible under Payments
- Applied and rejected suggestions are recorded for the affected property
Team Members
Open Items is only shown to the account owner. If you were invited to individual properties as a team member rather than owning the account, you are taken to Properties instead when you log in — you never see this page.
