Pricing Autopilot reviews demand signals for your property and either suggests price and availability changes — or, if you allow it, applies them for you. You decide how much autonomy it gets, and every action is logged.
How It Works
Autopilot regularly looks at data from your own account, including:
- Upcoming occupancy for the next weeks
- Recent booking pace compared to the period before
- Historical bookings and revenue for the property
From that it derives a recommendation — for example a higher or lower nightly rate — together with a confidence score and a short reasoning you can read.
What happens next depends entirely on the autonomy level you chose.
Autonomy Levels
Every module has its own autonomy level, set per property. New properties start at the most cautious setting.
- Suggest only: Autopilot analyzes and shows suggestions in your queue, but never applies changes on its own. You decide whether to act on each one. This is the default.
- Approval required: Autopilot prepares the change and puts it into your approval queue. Nothing takes effect until you approve it.
- Full auto: Autopilot applies changes automatically as soon as they're ready. You can still review or undo every action afterwards in the log.
As long as all modules sit at "Suggest only", Autopilot never changes anything on your behalf. You have to actively raise a module's level.
Modules
Beyond nightly pricing, Autopilot covers a few related areas — each with its own independent autonomy level:
- Pricing Adjustments: Nightly rate recommendations based on demand
- Minimum Stay: Relaxes minimum-stay rules for short gaps that would otherwise stay empty
- Gap Discounts: Short-notice discounts for gaps between bookings
- Booking Approval: Handling of incoming booking requests
- Aria Proposals: Actions proposed by Aria, the dashboard assistant, on your request
You can leave pricing on "Suggest only" while letting another module run further ahead — the levels are independent.
Turning It On
Open Autopilot
Go to Settings → Autopilot.
Pick the Property
Select the property you want to configure. Settings are always per property.
Set an Autonomy Level
For each module, choose Suggest only, Approval required, or Full auto.
Review the Queue
Open the Approval queue tab to see everything waiting for your decision, with the proposed change, the reasoning and the confidence.
Turning it off again:
- Lower a module back to Suggest only at any time
- Or use Pause everything at the top of the page to stop all modules at once, then Resume Autopilot when you're ready
Guardrails
Guardrails apply to every module — Autopilot never acts outside these limits.
- Confidence threshold: Suggestions below this confidence are never executed automatically. They can still show up as a suggestion for you.
- Daily cap: The maximum number of autonomous actions per day.
- Quiet hours: When enabled, no guest-facing actions are taken between 22:00 and 07:00.
- Undo window: The deadline for reversing an executed action. For pricing adjustments this is 24 hours.
Price Floor and Ceiling
On the property's pricing page you can set a minimum and maximum nightly price. Autopilot's recommendations are always kept inside that range, so it can never push your rate below what you're willing to accept or above what you consider realistic.
Before raising any module to Full auto, set a minimum and maximum nightly price on the pricing page. This is your strongest safety net.
Approval Queue
The Approval queue tab lists every action waiting for you. For each one you see:
- Which property and which module it belongs to
- The exact field-level changes it would make
- The reasoning behind it
- The confidence, as a percentage
- When it was submitted
You can Approve or Reject each item individually.
Audit Log
The Log tab is the full history of what Autopilot did — including actions you rejected and actions that expired.
What's recorded:
- Date, property and module
- Status changes, e.g. Pending → Approved → Executed
- Who acted: you, a team member, or the system
- The reasoning and the field-level changes
Working with the log:
- Filter by module, status and date range
- View details for the full reasoning and change list
- Export CSV for your records — exports are capped at 5,000 rows, so narrow your filters for large ranges
Undo
Executed actions can be reversed from the log within the undo window — 24 hours for pricing adjustments. Undo restores the settings the action changed.
Once the undo window has passed, the change becomes permanent in the log and can only be reversed by editing the setting manually.
Availability
Autopilot is included in every Stayoa plan — Starter, Pro and Scale.
The Aria Proposals module depends on the Aria assistant, which requires the Pro or Scale plan.
Team members with a viewer role can see the modules, queue and log, but cannot change autonomy levels or approve, reject and undo actions.
